This is my entry for the last Soap Challenge this year! It's made with a "kiss" pour. I call it Butterfly Kiss, because I used the colors of a Monarch Butterfly and a Giant Blue Morph Butterfly. Overly scented with Lemon Eucalyptus (unfortunatel)

This 3-D design challenge was the most labor-intensive soap I've ever done with the worst outcome...At least I know which design I'll never do again. Better luck next time! At least it smells good!

I’ve been making and using my own goat milk lotion. I’m very happy with the results, I’ll have it to sell online soon, but want to wait till this heat wave breaks. I don’t think it will ship well in the extreme temperatures. This batch is made with grape and vanilla essential oils. Smells wonderful. I’m open to suggestions about pricing. They are 8 oz bottles. 100% homemade!

I had the cutest experience today. A precious little family came to swim, a mother and her 4 year old daughter and 16 month old daughter. I brought the mom in to my soap room and had her pick out all the soap she wanted, the baby was with her. Then a few hours later the baby grabbed my finger and started leading me around. She led me back to the soap room. I asked her if she wanted to pick out a soap and she did! She picked out a honey chamomile bar. I asked if she wanted to give it to her mom, so she led me back outside to her mom with the bar in hand. Then forcing everyone present to smell it before adding it to the bag of soap her mother already picked out. Then she picked up every bar in the bag and had everyone smell them. I can’t tell you how elated I was to see this baby’s reaction to my soap!

Soap maker is out today, summer here I come!

I made a bar of soap for each of the kids I work with. They are dogs and cats encased in clear soap. I hope they like them! Can’t wait for summer break!
